did an internet search and found the very website you are looking
at now. I decided to come as a guest and check out Thursday's
meeting. I walked into the meeting room and the first person
I met was the president! She gave me a warm welcome plus an

Wow! What a club! I was surprised.
Because,
Every speech was fantastic.

You welcome but we have a waiting list.
Ok,
I'd like to wait and it doesn't a matter.
Toast, Toast, I came as a regular.
Meeting was enjoyable; time went faster.
Actually,
I learnt a lot even being a listener.

It's only the first step, I know, a long way ahead.

concerning speaking and training opportunities that were part
of my job a few years ago, I joined Toastmasters. In the following

We have all the necessary
equipment you need to deliver a powerful presentation: DVD
Camcorder, Laptop, LCD Projector, Powerpoint, Live Digital MP3
Recording, Flip chart, overhead projector, white boards,
etc.
We even have a DVD video
camera! After every session, you can take home a dvd of your presentation
to review privately on your own, thus allowing you to continue
the growth and learning of this program beyond the immediate group

you want an experienced toastmaster to give you some extra help.
No problem! We’ve created an extremely powerful mentorship program
specifically for our new members.
Each new member who joins
our club will be assigned a mentor (if they choose to). Your assigned
mentor works one-on-one with you. You can pick their brains, you
can ask them for feedback, or maybe you just need someone to encourage
you.
Bottom line is all the mentors
are excellent speakers and they are more than happy to help you
out.

believe that learning should be fun and
dynamic.
I know speaking to large
or small groups is intimidating for many people.
At Metro Speakers, you will

Practicing in a safe environment

right above Sears in Metro Town Centre. Go to the center of Metro

the world with different cultural backgrounds. Members represent
all sorts of professions and talents. What a diverse group …

Indian computer programmers, Chinese accountants … you
get the idea.
MetroSpeakers members are all ages, all cultures, and all levels
of public speaking abilities, from first time speakers to seasoned
professionals. Here is a safe place to practice and learn and
